The credit gets reported, despite us not being able to see it until she turned "adult" age.  So, she had a credit rating in the mid 700's before she even graduated high school.  The majority of her friends had no credit rating.  When we went into the bank to show her university acceptance letter and ensure her banking was set to a fee free student portfolio, they gave her her own credit card with a reasonable limit, minimal questions asked.  

 

I will need to get another card soon so I can do the same for Kid2 and preferentially one without international transaction fees because it works well to have an attached account to Apple Pay if you're travelling and need to pay for transit.  When we were in Europe a couple of years ago, it was super slick for riding the train in London and Milan.  Paris still has tickets (ridiculous much?) and Amsterdam - you could get an all day pass.  Not as slick as London and Milan, but still better than Paris!

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Tuesday T-B.-mobile report, see man:

 

Barely made it on time for o'dark-Many caucus, see eventual Thrilling Tuesday report man.

Independent shop not equipped for Tyre-Monitoring systems, no man.

They referred us to Discount Tyre, their go-to place man.

We related our bad experience buying tyres there in August, loath-to-return we man.

They said that a new manager is now there, would take little to eclipse caliber of old one man.

We went and waited till opening, first customer man.

They weren't busy at all, quite surprising to us man.

 

One tyre-sensor battery was dead and another about to go, proficiently tested man.

They replaced those, rotated the tyres, and relearned the programming, si man.

We were in & out in less than half an hour, amazing man.

The cost was $Many ($2x2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2), quite reasonable man.

We don't despise this place as much now as before, satisfied we man.

 

Wednesday is windshield-replacement, Safelite Repair Safelite Replace man.

So far, we have gotten Many (2+2+2) texts, Many (2+2+1) e-mails, and Many (2+2) phone calls to remind us of our appointment, :ranting:  :girlwerewolf2xn:  :bonk:  man.

We have STOPped the texts but are victim to the others, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

What are we, some irresponsible Manyager or something man?

We're going to beef about this to Safelite Repair Safelite Replace and to our insurance co., count on it man.  :ranting:

When I had mine replaced they came to my house and did it right there.
