Time for a pre-Thanksgiving rant.

My two kids and the associated grand kids as well as my wife's daughter and associated grand kids will be at our house for Thanksgiving.... on Friday!  This year we agreed that my ex-wife would get to celebrate with my kids on Thursday.

I understood that my wife's bunch were coming over from across the state on Wednesday, but at the last minute they decided to come Monday...ugh.  Those two grand kids are ADHD terrors on steroids, and their parents don't bother to discipline them.  (OK, they probably don't have ADHD, but the parents aren't doing their job)  Only takes a few minutes and our house looks like a tornado passed thru.  We worked Monday and Tuesday, and today was the first time in a long while I really looked forward to going to work!

I need a drink, or two.

More to follow.

I'll join you for those drinks...  my sister has a 'new guy' this year that we know nothing about but she's mysteriously moved in with. She brought him along into my mother's hospital room, no introductions.. just brought him there. Mom was not pleased. I know she'll try and bring him along for Xmas, they're like one entity now. And I'll be expected to get gifts for a guy I don't know a thing about but a name (and he's old enough to be her bloody father!).

Thrilling Monday report, see man:

Cold, rainy, windy, dreary morning and day, Texas weather sometimes not Many man.

Breakfasted/skoolbused Mini-B., umbrella usage wee man man.

Prepped ourself for mandatory visit to Mama T-B. to caucus with maintenance dude, si man.

T-B.-mobiled through rain, traffic, and skoolzones, :ranting: man.

Maintenance dude didn't show for over an hour, busy he man man.

He installed Mama T-B.'s window curtains, finally and pleased senior she man man.

He hung Mama T-B.'s new gigantic Dollar General wall clock, pleased senior she man man.

We left Mama T-B. after nearly a 2-hour visit and without being yelled at, mirabile dictu man.

Breakfast/lunch was 2 bagels + margarine, ingest we man.

A wonderful, lengthy, uninterrupted siesta was then taken, luxurious man.

We left door cracked and miu wandered in toward siesta's end, invasive miu man.

We now have no doubt that miu is starved for love, ignored-feeling miu man.

Din-din was onecan of Italian green beans*, nuked On-Cor chicken-parm patties, and sugar-free cherry pie, ingest Two Guys man.

*bought on markdown from supermarket closeout/dent bin, F$WM

Din-din should have been hot dogs, but we were out of ketchup, thought we had at least Many bottles man.  :bonk:

No movie night because Mini-B. had much hoamwurk, self-apply wee man man.

We dished and must de-dish the warsher, domestic we man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

Visit to Mama T-B. and purchase-ketchupping on an even colder Tuesday, both mandatory man.

Also visit to doc to x-ray shoulder, almost certain outcome man.

And that was/is our thrilling Monday, report we man.
