Yes it is.  It seems they reduced their size and gave up a little bit of their property to accommodate cruise ships, a new hotel, and an upscale gated community (Truman Annex) some years ago.

I do still see them practicing touch and goes at Boca Chica.

And of course got to keep a close eye and ear on Cuba.

Scintillating Monday repartee, yawn man.

-----

Thrilling Monday report, see man:

Trouble zzz-ing again, something's gotta give man.

Groceried for Uncle T-B., grateful senior he man man.

He always asks for bags of frozen hash browns when he has a minimum of 2 in his freezer, :bonk:  man.

Mini-B. is not just failing, but outright bombing, Algebra, national language of Algeria man.

We told ex-Mrs.-T-B. that we must hire a tutor/tutorette pronto, this can't go on man.

Went to Costco for a maximum of Many (2+2) items, bread milk optional items we man.

First possible item not in needed size, oh well man.

Second possible item needed boiling to cook, disqualified man.

Milk in rather short supply but enough for us, OK man.

Usual bread stale as anything, :ranting: man.

We got what we didn't really want, redeem this trip man.

Breakfast/lunch (at half-past Many p.m.) was the hot dog + Diet Pepsi  Coke Zero at Costco, :ranting: man.

We want Pepsi*, not Coke, :ranting:  :ranting:  :ranting: we man.

*thus disqualifying us as a real Texan, some say man

How dare they change over without consulting us, :ranting:  man.

At least the leaky, splattering drink-dispensers were replaced, small consolation and nevertheless :ranting: we man.

Back at the casa, had to service demanding miu, Treat Dry-Lunch Brush Me Daddy miu man.

We were dead tired, tired we man.

It was also after Many (2+2) p.m., skool zones man.

Fortunately, Mama T-B. said that we could see her on Tuesday, amazing man.

Tried to siesta, not even close man.

This has got to stop, exhausted we man.

Spent full hour prepping garbage/recycling from casa to curbside, prep we man.

We had perhaps a Manyzen of boxes of various sizes, combine many and break down some man.

After this, we feared that we would out-pig on junk food for the rest of the night, fear we man.

We then remembered the Monday 'za special at a 'za place, remember we man.

We ordered and retrieved a medium 'roni 'za, thin crust man.

We consumed the entire thing while watching part of Monday Night Football, ingest we man.

We will break the scale tonight/tomorrow but will probably not out-pig on junk food tonight, problem solved man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

Admin stuff + visit to Mama T-B. on Tuesday, only plans man.

And that was/is our thrilling Monday, report we man.

We had a very nice vacation and thankfully the weather was not too bad.

A small rant though about men these days. I know of course not all men, but there seems to be a generation of men that are very aggressive and entitled these days. We had gone to my husband's favorite pub while in town, it was a nice night so it was packed and mainly filled with couples. Seating is always first come first serve, so we grabbed one of the remaining tables outside. My husband went back inside to place an order at the bar and chat to a friend, while I waited outside holding our table and waiting for the server. A young man with his much older, inappropriately dressed for this location, and very drunk date??? stumbles onto the sidewalk and begin having an argument with each other. She approaches another man seated at a table waiting for his date to arrive and when not given a response she wants then storms off into the bar. Her 'date' now sets his eyes on me, and begins to aggressively demand that he sit at my table because he has "some life **** to sort out", asks if I'm actually going to eat something, if I'm with someone. He's getting more angry every time I tell him that yes I'm waiting for a server and no he cannot sit with me. He starts pacing in front of me, gripping my husband's empty chair and again wants to know if I'm waiting for someone. I tell him in a firm tone that I am waiting for my husband. This immediately provokes him to start shouting that he's not interested in me anyway and several other expletives. I decide to start ignoring him because such children aren't worth my time, and I start texting my husband to hurry. Other patrons are now looking immediately concerned and thankfully my husband had arrived back at the table, which quickly scared him off. The 'date' got tossed out of the pub and they stumbled away arguing down the street.

I am still so bewildered what it was all about, but sure made me uncomfortable!

Yesterday we flew to Colorado for the wedding of the daughter of my wife’s best friend, and a girl that worked for me while she was in school.   We are in the Boulder area but staying at a small lodge in a very small town way up in the mountains.  8236 feet elevation which is a big change for us from the couple of feet above sea level.  It’s a quirky artistic tourist town and our lodge is right on Boulder creek.  Only took us several minutes to walk the entire town.  Noticed that there were mountain bikes for rent.  Asked my wife if she wanted to try mountain biking…LOL.  She said only if she could get a mountain bike with training wheels.  @TBoneTX, I think this proves she is a true Rubia.
