So, USCIS started reviewing my case that was filed in May, 2024, to bring my mom to the US. I am a US Citizen. Today's update on the USCIS website stated that they have "...sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative". Do I wait until a paper mail arrive or is there a way of seeing an electronic request? If there is, I can't seem to find it on the website...Note: I had submitted initial evidence when I filed. My passport was renewed since, so I am sure that would be one of the requests. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Go over your copies and check that all is correct and up to date and check email to see if there is a notice there / maybe in junk mail

you do have to wait for the paper to arrive as you have to send that copy in to with the RFE information

keep copies of the request and all you submit

you should mention the country as many times it is country specific and i have seen many ask for official record of birth

Unlikely to be the issue.  It is more likely evidence to establish the relationship.
