I'm gonna apply under the 5 year rule, probably this weekend. I'm still indecisive, if I wanna file online or apply by mail with a reduced fee waiver. I already got everything filled out online, just need to send it off. But saving $300ish dollars sounds pretty appealing, too 😅

It's not an easy decision to make. Keep us posted!

I will!

I'll probably end up filing online though 🫣 I really don't feel like buying new ink cartridges for my printer, fill everything out again, sort it, go to the post office and whatnot.

But I bet, I'll regret not saving the money... whenever I'm gonna need it later 😅

If I file by paper, is it still possible to see documents through my uscis account? Or is it just the general "track case" that I can add once I get the case number?

My understanding is (don't quote me on this), when filing by paper, you'll receive letter with code, which you can use along with case number to add case to online account and receive PDF copies there too.

Oh, okay. That'd be nice.

When I tracked my I-751 through my online account, I never got any copies as pdfs there. So, I wasn't sure, if the N-400 would be different or not.

I just filed my application online 🫣

Simply figured, it's more convenient. Even though, it's a little more pricey.

I filed today (July 11th) at 22:59. What time do they go by because it says July 12th as filing date? 🤔

Not that it's important, just curious.

Congrats! I had wrong date also shown, it doesn't matter

Thank you! 😊

I hope, all will go smooth. Haven't gotten a biometric reuse update yet. Hopefully, it's just because it's the weekend. I really don't want to drive 3-4 hours one-way to the nearest office for a 5 min appointment again 😬

God day I'm asking for a family member. This person have tried several times to file N400 online and although the application is accepted the system will not allow them to pat. What could possible be wrong?
