@Crazy Cat Every time I change VPNs here at work, I get to the site only for about 10-15 minutes now. It seems to be accelerating. I'm wondering if the service hosting the site (I'm assuming this is run using a hosting service) is having issues with BGP routing

I am now, intermittently, able to connect without a VPN.....but it is sporadic at best.    I'm now learning toward some kind of routing congestion or faulty switch/server along certain internet routes as the culprit.  An IP block wouldn't act like that. Maybe @Captain Ewok can shed some light on the subject.  The (almost) network engineer (1 course short of an MCSE in the 2000s) part of me is extremely curious.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Yes that’s why my network-engineer (adjacent) brain 🤣 Thought about bad BGP advertising? My mind went to routing too. I’m about to be closed out being able to access VJ soon 😢 I hope they can fix it

Ok so for details in case needed by @Captain Ewok - When I try to connect via my Mobile Data using the Google Chrome app I get

 

This site can't provide a secure connection

www.visajourney.com sent an invalid response.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

 

When I try with my Laptop Chrome browser I get

 

This site can’t be reached

www.visajourney.com took too long to respond

ERR_TIMEOUT

 

I am scrambling to try to connect and am running out of options. None of the VPN locations on my phone work anymore and the VPNs I have available at my office work for a little while and then fail and I cannot reuse the failed ones for about 24 hours once they fail

 

P.S. - I know of at least one other VJ member that is having the same issue aside from @Crazy Cat and this is the only site we are having issues reaching

Update:  Problem recurred.......Back on VPN to connect.

Verified that, without VPN, could not connect......reconnected VPN, and I'm back.
