USCIS is part of DHS, so USCIS to access IRS data.

I always thought this was eventual, but it is happening sooner than expected.

Any thoughts?

I had initially assumed government communicated

Wrong

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

the article says this is being done to find illegals by tax forms and addresses

Just shows you that this administration does not understand illegals usually have no SS # (or use fake one) and no green card so they work under the table and would not fill out tax returns

the objective is not going to work especially when he he getting rid of so many IRS and immigration employees

In the article cited by the article being discussed, it says ICE can ask the IRS to provide them with any location information they may have but must request it with a name and the last known address.  If the IRS has a match, they will give ICE the address they have.  It also claims there are 7 million tax-paying illegals.  I know a lot of illegals do file taxes, but I'm not sure there are 7 million.

@JeanneAdil @J.M. The linked article in which you referenced is at

Moving forward, USCIS certainly has more data with the IRS to scrutinize petitions and to pass to DHS for enforcement, for legals and illegals.
