Yup .... nice to see progress ...

As @grumpypiggy can attest, the K-1s when we were early in the process were nightmarish .... anything immigration seems to take a while but somehow it hurts more when it starts as 8 mo estimate and slides out longer and longer as it goes.  Almost seems easier to be told up front it's forever and let it be surprisingly shorter (even if not crazy short but atleast there is hope that way)

I completely ignored any MyProgress estimates for this reason. I'm yet to find somebody who had an accurate estimate. Frankly, ROC is a lot easier than AOS. You have expired GC + 48 months letter. You have all work and travel rights as regular LPR with 10 year GC. Whether it takes 6 months or 3 years to get approved - it won't make much difference. And you can generally apply for N-400 about a year after I-751 submission.

Agree. I’m still not sure if i want to do N-400 right after eligible date - of course it’s gonna be a family debate on my side as a Chinese (not recognizing dual citizenship and my parents have strong opinions on me being american than any other country’s citizen lol)

So I applied Global Entry yesterday with GC expiration date set to 2029, just for quick processing in terms of international traveling and potentially avoiding in-person interaction with CBP staff.

2025-09-15: I-751 sent via UPS Next-Day-Air
2025-09-16: Case received
2025-09-19: Case number received via SMS (#IOE09338)
2025-09-20: Partial evidence uploaded
2025-09-22: Check deposited

2025-09-23: 48-month extension notice uploaded

2025-09-23: Biometrics reuse notice uploaded

2025-09-23: Case still being processed

2025-09-27: Extension notice received

2025-09-27: Biometrics reuse notice received

Congrats! I hope you get approved fast. It's a great program, I really enjoy its benefits

For us, Brazil recognizes Dual Citizenship so we just might get going as soon as we are elidgable.

With regards to Global Entry, Here was our experience.
March 2024 - Wife did Interview on Arrival (far easier than getting an appointment) and approved
Plenty of Domestic Trips with "PreCheck" (that is a blessing in its own)

January 2025 - 1st use of Global Entry they selected her to talk with, take biometrics again, and admitted (not too hard)

September 2025 - 2nd use of Global Entry, Kiosk said not a member, had to divert to the service desk then to the interview desk (no biometrics this trip)
We asked about what is next after filing our I-751
We were also told that next trip we would need to bring the extension letter to the appointment desk again (upon arrival) and they would have to update the account once more.

Overall, not as seamless as it is for me (Citizen) but not a long line either ...

Sorry about that experience! I only had hold ups due to pending I-751, but nothing else described

Even with those snags, wife is quite happy with Global Entry and especially with the PreCheck that comes with it.
