Can you share what questions was asked at your interview?

So sorry but pregnancy brain made me forget most of it, all I remember was "Name 3 original states." for the civics test. Then I had to read something like "Who elect Congress." and write something like "The people elect Congress." Then we moved on to the N-400. Just asked me to confirm my legal name, husband's name, kids, then went thru the Part 9 questions. I didn't get asked any word definitions.

Hope that helps!

Thankyou, I was trying to figure out if they were giving the new test or old

The new N-400 civics test took effect on October 20, 2025, for all applicants filing Form N-400 on or after that date. Those who filed their application before October 20, 2025, will take the previous version of the test.
  • New test effective: October 20, 2025.
  • Applicants affected: Those who file Form N-400 on or after October 20, 2025.
  • Previous test: Applicants who file before this date will continue with the 2008 version.

If you filed December 2024 it would still be the old test (2008 version).

I filed N-400 (No I-751, 5 year rule) on December 24th 2024 and did my biometrics on January 14 2025.

I live in South Carolina but I'm near Charlotte North Carolina so I suppose that Greer SC is my office but it could be Charlotte NC, I'm not 100% sure.

I still haven't heard anything about my interview, so I hope everything is still normal. Anybody else here from Charlotte or have any input?

I was supposed to get my citizenship around May 2025 originally. "Estimated time until your case decision" expired around July.

2 Months ago, they re-added 4 months and was counting down again.
Last week, it was showing "2 months" left, I was getting hopeful.
And today I check and it's saying "5 months"......

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing with the "Estimated time until your case decision" being extended over and over again?

Is there anything I should be doing?

I'm really starting to get worried and frustrated.

MyProgress estimates can be ignored. They are never accurate. You can find many examples on VisaJourney proving it's a joke, including my case. On day of my oath ceremony, MyProgress estimated 3 weeks until decision.
