Hi All.  Back after a long absence.  My GC is expiring end of this year.  Decided to go for citizenship.   Decided to go with online route instead of paper.  Have completed about 98% now.   One page asks me for my USCIS # even though I'm clearly signed on to their system filling in their application.  Sigh.  I have looked everywhere on my account page and can not locate it anywhere.   I have read in the online guides.  It says to locate it on my profile page.  Can not find such a page.  Tried to phone and reach a USCIS agent.  The computer just hangs up on me repeatedly.  Ridiculous.   Can anyone light the way here ?

I think what they mean is your Alien Number which is the same as USCIS# which is printed on your GC.

They need to know who you are and that number identifies you.

USCIS account number is not the same as USCIS number.

Thank you for your quick response.  I have uploaded 2 photos of the page.  They do ask for my A number which I have supplied.  But they also ask for my USCIS Online Account Number.   This is the number I can not find anywhere.   It does not make sense to tick the box that I don't have one because I am signed on to the USCIS system and am filling in the N400 form online so I must have a USCIS Online Account Number.   This is also the page that references the "profile" page that is somewhere on my account page.   I must be blind because I can't find it anywhere.   Does anyone know where it is ?

A-number and USCIS account umber are two very different things. All immigrants have an A-number. Only those who have previously filed a petition ONLINE have a USCIS account number. Many of us never filed a petition online because the petitions were paper filings only back then, so we don't have any such numbers. You will get one after you have submitted your online filing, so you just skip that question when you fill out your petition.

Oh my gosh !   Thank you so much.   Yes, back in the day I was a paper filer.  Lots and lots and lots of paper. lol    And this time I thought if I signed up for an online account and went that route then surely I was assigned a number once I signed up for an online account.   I didn't realize it happened AFTER I submit.  Thank you thank you for clarifying that.  It was driving me crazy that I couldn't find it.    Much appreciate your time.  As always this site and it's members rock !
