I-130 "Was the beneficiary EVER in immigration proceedings?" - Only US?

Hello,

In the I-130 form for a marriage visa question 53 asks "Was the beneficiary EVER in immigration proceedings?." I am wondering if this only applies to immigration proceedings in the US. My husband has past asylum proceedings in Sweden. He appealed a few times and these went up to a court level. He currently however has a new case and Sweden has dismissed all previous applications hearings etc. Basically, I was wondering how much detail I need to go into on this topic in our initial petition.

Thanks for your time!

This applies to US immigration proceedings.  That being said, he may want to take any relevant information regarding his Swedish immigration proceedings with him to the eventual interview.

I agree that only applies to US proceedings. When they want to know about other countries they are specific on their questions.
