I had my child overseas before I became US citizen.

Does it give my child automatic citizenship?

My child Is less than 2 yrs and I will like to bring my child to live with me.

Any idea if my child will have to get US passport in the foreign country or do I have to file.

If you were not a US citizen when your child was born, no, you cannot transmit citizenship to him/her.  You, therefore, cannot get a US passport for the child.  Assuming your child is a citizen of the country birth, you will need to get him/her a passport from that country.

To bring the child to the US you will need to file an I-130 petition for an immigrant visa for him/her (an IR-2 visa if you are now a US citizen). As you are now a US citizen (right?), once your child receives an immigrant visa and uses it to enter the US to reside in the legal and physical custody of his/her US citizen parent, he/she will immediately becomes a US cirizen under the Child Citizenship Act (assuming the entry is before the child turns 18).

Where are you and the child now?  Others may know more, but I believe you need to submit an I130 for the child so they can get an IR2 visa, then once they enter the US legally, you can apply for a US passport assuming the child is not older than 18 at that time.

Good Luck!

Did you declare the child when you naturalised?

Yes I wish to bring both to the United States. I reported my child's birth on my naturalization application and also on my interview day with USCIS officer who put my daughter's info on their system

Is the mother of the child your wife? If so, file an I-130 for each of them - there’s guides you can use on here. Good luck.
