The service center was Nebraska initially, on the approval it showed Texas.

i received an email notification yesterday:

 

“we cancelled the request for additional evidence for your Form I130, PETITION FOR ALIEN RELATIVE. We will send you a notice if we need additional evidences. “

 

It’s weird because they did not send me an RFE in the first place. I looked at the documents tab theres nothing in there. Then it went back to 2 months before decision.

03/05/23 Submitted I130 online

 

03/05/23 Received notice that they received my form and that they mailed me a receipt letter.

 

04/20/23 Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS

 

04/16/24 email notification from USCIS ,we cancelled the request for additional evidence for your Form I130, PETITION FOR ALIEN RELATIVE. We will send you a notice if we need additional evidences. 

04/16/24 Received notification that they cancelled the request for additional evidence. Its weird because i didnt receive any RFE prior to this notification.

04/18/24 Receievd a notification for RFE but i looked at the documents tab theres no RFE.

 

04/19/24 I checked again the document tab and now found the RFE doc. Theyre basicallly asking for addiitonal evidence because my birth cert that i submitted doesnt clearly indicate the date it was registered.

 

 

Now im confused if my RFE is cancelled or not. Has anyone encountered this? I tried calling the uscis number to clarify but i cannot get past the automated assitant even if i say talk to an agent. This is so frustrating.

Try checking the document tab the next day. It happened to me, at first when i checked the dociment tab theres nothing in there, then i checked the following day its already there.

I have Baptismal Cert, Confirmation Cert, old Insurance document showing the children as her dependent/beneficiary. And My mom is going to my school to see what document  she can get there that can probably show her enrolling me before in the school or whatever. Hopefully that will satisfy.

yea nothing so far for the other one. I think NVC identifies the best consulate and sends approved document file to the consulate to go inline for an appointment date. 

Hi there - hoping you can provide some updates. Did you have to do anything to get the 2 applications to line up? I also submitted for both parents so wanting to know what to anticipate based on what others experienced/any advice if they aren't synched up in approval/NVC/etc. Thanks!!!

Can theresponse to rfe be sent online or is it just through mail?

I applied my i130 online so i will submit online.  Theres an attachment button there beside the rfe inside your online account where you attach the docs.

After receiving RFE last 04/18/24, i submitted the additiona evidences as response to rfe on 04/28/24.

Finally today 04/30/24, my status changed to actively reviewing and then when i checked document tab the i-130 approval is attached.

Hi Tinskee , I am so sorry , was abroad and hadn’t come to the page in a while hence my inability to reply your questions. I however have seen you have scaled through. I on the other hand have been unable to submit the additional evidence . I am working on a dna now. Congratulations and keep us posted!
