Waiting for a NOA2 from CSC for your I-129F?

According to the lady I spoke with from USCIS- My application was approved today. However, there is no e-mail and the USCIS doesn't show anything yet. She said that I will see something soon.

was it a customer service person or an immigration officer?

I just spoke to a customer service person and they weren't much help.

what did you say in order to speak to an immigration officer?

I did the "RFE TRICK": Call the USCIS #800-375-5283. Press the following #'s in the following order: 1, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1, case #, 1, 1

(If your case number starts WAC you need to press 922 which corresponds to the letters WAC)

There are only certain hours the "RFE TRICK" will work, I am guessing 9-5 eastern.

10/6/08: EAD & AP - received in the mail!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

does the beneficiary's country come into play when they are adjudicating?

11/21/2007 = NOA1 (according to www.uscis.gov online case status)

11/26/2007 = Check cashed (YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!)

11/28/2007 = Touched

11/30/2007 = Rec'd NOA1 hard copy in the mail

12/20/2007 = Touched

12/21/2007 = Touched

03/12/2008 = Touched (due to phone call)

03/24/2008 = NOA2!!!!!!!!!

05/05/2008 = Arrived at Consulate

It is official. I just received the e-mail 5 minutes ago! Still, a very strange occurrence that the first time I converse with someone from USCIS, they inform me of my NOA 2 approval.

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On February 4, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).
