Is the form 1040 with all w2s and the letter from employer enough as evidence?

And what exactly of the 1040 do they want? Just the first two pages or everything is there is?

thank you so much!!

Get tax returns transcripts from IRS website. They're usually 1 page long per statement. Do not submit partial information, e.g. "first two pages". This usually results in RFE / NOID and delays.

Well I ended up getting the tax return transcripts of all 3 years which turned out to be 27 pages in total. So have fun USCIS:D

Interesting. Those were transcripts from IRS website? They're usually 1 page long?

Ours were 8-9 pages long for each year. I though it’ll be a shorter document too

I could think of tax returns from Turbotax being long, but not IRS tax return transcripts. Learning something new every day! Do you have some special arrangements when it comes to income? I've been filing jointly for 5 years now and every statement is one page so far 😅

That’s interesting! First year I came we used tax credits for my insurance premium so that was reflected on the tax transcript and last year my husband had a lot of W2s due to job switches. This upcoming year it will be a very simple return with just one type of W2 for each of us and no tax credits. I will let you know how long it'll be! I’m curious too.

Makes sense then. Usually me and my spouse only have 1 job each and don't have any special credits etc. Explains 1 page returns for us

6 pages for us.  MFJ with W2 and 1099-INT, no other tax credits.

Did you check print view of your return transcripts?  One of our older transcripts displays as a single long page by default.  But when I enable Print view on my PDF reader, it's actually 4 pages long.

You're right. I looked at the PDFs again and they are at least 4 pages long. I guess I was spreading misinformation about those being 1 page long.
