Hey I’m from Germany and didn’t have to do a road test to get my Wisconsin drivers license. Went there today and got the receipt and I should get the drivers license in the next couple days in the mail. Is it normal that they don’t confiscate or void my German drivers license? Do I get to have two drivers licenses now?

But does the country of origin play any role. I.e. China, is there a longer waiting time for a CR1 to be approved than countries in europe?

Hey Guys! I have a friend who is a US citizen living in china and he is planning on bringing his girlfriend to the US. Now I'm wondering what is the better option. I know with the CR1 you have the green card much faster than with a K1 visa. But how fast are CR1's approved in China currently? Does the country of origin play into that or are CR1 visas equally fast approved no matter where you are from. Thanks!

I got my receipt notice for I-485 and it starts with IOE. According to my research that means its being processed online. Does that mean its being processed faster or is USCIS just doing that with any I-485 they get at a lockbox. I saw that the processing time as of right now is 14.5 months so just trying to figure out how accurate that is. Thank you for your help!

Well I ended up getting the tax return transcripts of all 3 years which turned out to be 27 pages in total. So have fun USCIS:D -
Is the form 1040 with all w2s and the letter from employer enough as evidence? And what exactly of the 1040 do they want? Just the first two pages or everything is there is? thank you so much!!

Hey I just went to the SSA and everything went well with applying for a SSN. She told me it would take about 3 weeks until I get my card. Now I’m wondering should I wait for my card and then send in my AoS or can I file my AoS already and in the i485 and the i765 I just answer that SSA hasn’t issued a SSN yet and I also don’t want a SSN issued through either of those forms. I kinda want to get my AoS in asap so I can work sooner vs later. I’m a K1 visa holder. Thank you for your help!

Hey! I was watching a couple videos on Youtube on how to assemble my i485 package and got many different opinions. Now I have the question: Do I submit supporting evidence multiple times which each form i file in the whole package? i.e. a photocopy of the US passport for the i485 and another one for the i864 and so on... or is one photocopy of each document enough and USCIS deals with that once they open the package. Thank you for your help!!
