Two dumb questions

Brace yourself, this really is dumb but I'm trying to avoid RFE if at all possible:

1. Does it matter if the G-325a is typed and printed -vs- using the government's 4 part form? FWIW I was sent a form with carbons in between the pages.

2. I sign my G-325a and she signs hers, right? I don't sign both of them, in other words?

Thanks so much... hey, I told you they were dumb questions!

Some people say I'm easily distracted, but that's not... Hey! A squirrel!

Either way is OK. If you handwrite the forms, make sure its neat and legible.

Yes, you each sign your own form as it is relative to yourself.

Good luck on your visa journey!

Hello and Welcome to VisaJourney,

Basically...no question is a "dumb" question IF you have searched the archives and not found your answer. FWIW you could have filled out the G-325a online and printed all four pages (it transfers your info so you only type it once) from your computer. Also, the 4 pages are numbered to show that they go different places...Consulate, Embassy, etc. Did you put these 4 different places on your forms? I don't recall exactly what they were....but they do go 4 different places.

Your G-325a is for you...hers is for her. Best advice I can give you is DO NOT EVER sign anything for your wife!! If it requires her signature...she MUST sign it. There are no shortcuts around this requirement. Follow the instructions in explicit detail...if it says fill out this form in "green" ink...fill it out in green ink.

Good Luck,

Craig

 Sounds like you're good to go. As I say to people in my retail job, there aren't any dumb questions, as long as you've tried to look for the answer first!

Also, don't forget about the letters of intent from both you and your fiancee. Good luck on the rest of the journey. :D

Dont feel any quesiton is dum as long as you keep it straight to point. Feel free to ask people are here to help. If someone dont (in Some cases happens) Dont feel bad just ignore it and move on. Remmber you doing this for your loved ones. Yes u can print them or hand write them choice is yours. I would say if u prints its more better as long as you dont have bad hand writting like i do. lol anyway if you need any program software don hesitate I can send u adobe acrobat which will let u save electronically and print the forum also. 325A when filled with adobe acrobat it automatically copeis over to 3 pages.

Just in case, allow me to make it clear that the G-325A needs to be in 4 copies. It's fine to either print it or handwrite it when filling it out but it needs to be in 4 copies. The advantage of filling it on your computer is that you don't have to fill it 4 times... you just fill the first page in Acrobat Reader and it fills the 3 other pages for you. Don't forget to sign it at the end (that'll need to be handwritten in any case, obviously).
