I have recently had my medical at London for my K1 visa and when i left i got given a form of vaccinations that i need to get before i do my AOS, what is the best way of obtaining these vaccinations. I read online that the hep b vaccine can take up to 6 months for all 3 doses and I just need some help with how everyone else did it. I have my Visa interview on the 6th of november and i have my flights booked to fly out there for the 12th of december.

PLEASE HELP!393907455_352901620638788_701382763858173026_n.thumb.jpg.656a294d3e9f55dff146d8c43f75ec9d.jpg

For vaccinations that require a series, you do not need to be complete but in process.

Too late now but I made sure I was up to date before the medical, free.

Did they not offer the vaccinations at the Medical?

They did offer them at a price, i said i would get them at my GP before going to america. Do you know if i need all 3 doses of hep b before applying for AOS or just in process is ok?

You are going to have to see a Civil Surgeon in the US, it seems many will want to be the full medical. You need to make sure they know you only need part of it and charge accordingly

I did not have to do this so do not know.

Hopefully you have a refundable airline ticket, in case of delays or denial.

Not a problem for a K1 just needs to be sorted for adjustment.

Yea I read online that you dont need to complete all 3 of the vaccinations for the hep b but just start the first one then i can get signed off on those 3 for the AOS. So not a problem going to get all of them next week then will be all good for AOS i can just get a civil surgeon to sign the document to confirm when in America.

what delays? and the only denial would be the interview and im confident.

Delays/denial of the visa, obviously.

It is always recommended by consulates not to book tickets, quit jobs, sell properties etc until you have the visa in hand.

I have seen people who have come in with nothing, or maybe more likely no documentation. Or both.
