I am so sorry that you are struggling for a slot. I was in the same boat as your until last Thursday got lucky. My friend in the K1 visa applicant group India helped me to book. Pls check every Mon to Thursday between 3 pm to 6:30 pm IST. They do release. Last Monday they had a mass release of slots. Also they release slots randomly. Wishing you the best.

It's Ishani. Yes I was part of the telegram group and just tired of those agents texting me that they would help me with slots. I connected to a WhatsApp K1 group before joining telegram. That's where came to know about visa slots .. But I left the group as one person was trying to demean me. I was answering to all the queries of the applicants out there and this person was interfering. I left the group. And by the grace of God one person in the group who became my friend before joining the group booked my slot. I never lost hope in this entire process. I am sorry I am no more a part of the group though. But I have joined a small group. I will speak to the admin to send you a link. Pls send me your contact number.  Will try my best to assist you. As of today I am heading to Mumbai for my biometrics. My interview is on the 7Nov.

Finally a sheer luck. Got my slots last Thursday. Biometrics today and interview on 7th Nov. Friend helped me book my slot. Can't thank her enough.

One of my friends helped me get an interview date. She said the trick is that once you make your ds160 payment on the scheduling website, close your application and open a new one. It then asks for your payment details and then you are able to see the open slots. Hope this helps!

Hello all, My Fiancé and I are also not having any luck in getting slots for interview and OFC appointment for K1 visas. Can you please add me to the WhatsApp group as well?  

 

Also for police clearance certificate (PCC) are they only valid for 3 months now? (A friend's lawyer told him that) Before it was a 1 year.   I am asking because I did see an appointment but that was for next week, which unfortunately was too early since My Fiancé did not have her PCC done.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need some help on the new portal, where I don't get to see ds160 application number, it rather asks for ds260 which is not needed for non-immigrant visa (K1). K1 is listed under immigrant visa category, there is something wrong. Can someone please help me here to proceed further? I have already filled ds160 and I have the number for it.

 

Finding so many comments here is like finding water in the desert for K1 applicants from India, some sigh of relief!
