Change of Address

We are now in the USA and need to file a Change of Address so we will receive our Green Cards.  Who do I call or write to?

Immigrant files AR11. .. can do it online

 

Petitioner files I 865 

 

hopefully the USCIS does the right thing at their end and your cards get sent by to the new address not to the old one. Keep watching your case status on your USCIS. account   USPS will not forward this piece of mail .. if not deliverable it will be returned to USCIS 😳

I would not change it, especially when you're just waiting to receive a GC..USCIS has it's own brain and the address change may or may nor be picked. 

 

What address did you list initially? A friend's? Siblings?

Tough cal in this. 

 

But is the friend moving within the next 2 months? If NO, stay put. If YES, AR-11 but you'll have to track the mail in both addresses because USCIS may send it to the old one. If that happens, you may want to grab it at old address as opposed to dealing with returned mail. Dealing with returned USCIS mail is headache.
