We reived our letter for biometrics appointment on 9/4 and the notice has an Application Number MSC07XXXXXXXX.

It this our NOA1 or is there another letter for NOA1?

I dont think thats an NoA, bcoz NoA1 should be I-797C, but i believe that you received ASC Appointment Notice (the same as i did).

Im not sure if there will be another letter for NoA1, i just wondering if you can check you status online in USCIS website.

I've tried several day to check my status but i got 'validation error' message...,

No, they will not send out another NOA1. Its really not important. Your case number is the only important thing on NOA1, which you can get in other ways (cancelled check, biometrics appt letter).

7-30-07 I-130 returned for missing signature

8-3-07 resubmitted I-130 and submitted I-131, I-485 (forgot about price increase, ouch!!)

Hoping to get confirmation information soon, as my wife wants to travel out of the country soon.

Should look like what garya05 mentioned - MSC07XXXXXXXX. I plan to look on the scanned image of the cancelled check via my online banking (in the event I don't receive NOA1).

Now that August is looming in....i've decided to start this thread up for us August filers. I know its still July, however it seems that the cutoff for the July filers thread was the 25th of July.

Does Uscis call you for Biometrics or do you have to call them how does that work cause I noticed that my checks have been cashed today

I mailed my I-129F on 8/14 via the USPS priority mail. It should be delivered either today or tomorrow.

I sent my AOS and EAD papers on July 20 they received my package on July 23rd still no NOA 1 I assume it won't be until Aug.

Does this mean I am a july filler or Aug filler?

They'll mail you a notice with the date, time, and location of your biometrics appointment. :)
