'Accidentally in Love' by Counting Crows. I have it playing as I write this and tears are streaming down my cheeks. Ain't love great??

This was playing on the radio in June 2004 in the cafe where I had breakfast the day after I took the biggest emotional risk of my life and came to Montana to meet John after five weeks of emailing through match.com. I already knew that this was IT. John had gone to work and I was sitting there processing what had happened. This song seemed to be on the radio wherever I went those weeks and I remember feeling as though I was going to burst with happiness whenever I heard it. And often did burst into tears which always made John laugh.

We chose it as the song to play at the end of our wedding ceremony when we kissed for the first time (I really wanted a 'movie moment') and I get this huge emotional surge every time I hear the opening bars.

This doesn't talk about distance, being apart or anything like that, but it is one of my fav love songs of all times! The artist who sings it - Amel Larrieux - isn't really very famous (or at least I don't think so, no one ever knows who she is when I mention her ), it's called 'Make me whole".
