Current Pakistan K-1 Timeline?

I applied in Feb 2023. What is the current processing times and when I can I expect NOA2 and then NVC, Interview etc? I heard USCIS has started to speed things up? Is that true? Please let me know. Thanks.

The average time, according to other VJ members, is 410 days from NOA1 to NOA2.  Add another 200 days (or longer for ISL) for interview.  Your times may be different.

Sometimes the consulate places cases under administrative processing due to the unreliable background verifications. The total average for all consulates from NOA1 to interview, according to data entered by VJ members, is 604 days.

You can see historic Pakistan timelines for K1 (according to VJ) here

Most couples out of Paikstan opt for the spousal visa for two reasons

1.) The petitioner is an LPR when they submit the I-130 and the K1 is not possible

or

2.) They know spousal visa is easier in Pakistan due to administrative issues 

or

3.) They are interested in getting married in Pakistan (wedding ceremony) and know they cannot do the wedding they desire in the US on a short timeline.

My impression is that K1 is unusual due to societal/religious reasons.

2-3 years probably.   Maybe longer if the beneficiary is male.

@SaltyCaptain592 hi i applied for my pakistani wife also and it will take USCIS atleast 1-1.5 years to approve your wifes USCIS case and than it is sent to NVC , usually within couple of days and than it will be at NVC for atleast 2-4 month, and than your wife will have to wait for her interview in islamabad, which is currently taking 22 months, however by the time your wife is done with USCIS and NVC, the backlog at islamabad embaasy will be better it is already getting alot better in the last 2 months, so by the time your wife case is at the islamabad embassy it will take at least 9months- 1 year for interview, so in total you will be looking at least 3 years basically. Source me and 10000 other pakistani people on this website and facebook. Just my wife has been waiting for 16 months for her islamabad interview. So sorry but atleast 3 years for sure.
