Thrilling Wednesday report, see man:

Got up early enough to prep for rendezvous with the FAJC, arise-and-prep we man.

Texted her twice with our timing and "Please confirm, si man," si man.  No response, no man.

We headed out regardless, one hour and Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2 +1) miles man.

Arrived on time, timely we man.

Couldn't find her exact casa, one of 2 or Many possibles man.

Texted and called, no response man.

Finally texted that we were hurt and had had our time wasted, up-stood we man.

We drove to a Mexican restaurant about 2 miles away and began lunching, ingest we man.

We then got a lengthy, apologetic text from the FAJC, apologetic FAJC man.

She said that a job interview had come up and she'd forgotten all about us, true story man.

She asked where we were, she'd be home soon, and could we still meet, ask FAJC of we man man.

We indicated our receptivity, receptive we man.

So, 1 hour + half an hour after originally scheduled time, we met the FAJC, finally caucus we man.

We took her to lunch at Popeye's*, highly acceptable choice to FAJC and to we man man.

*WUOC, financially savvy and approved-of-by-FAJC we man

Had nice chat for an hour until we had to leave, nice FAJC man.

The FAJC is a noosering student, 2nd year of Noosering Skool man.

We knew this and had brought along medical books that we'd planned to donate, prepared we man.

As we returned the FAJC to her casa, we gave her choice of one, Many, or all, offer we to FACJ man.

The FAJC very gratefully took all but one, older edition of another man.

She said to text her when we returned to our casa, text we man to FAJC man man.

We left at half-past 2 p.m. and went to nearby donation place, donate we man.

We donated Many (2+1) bags of stuff in the T-B.-mobile trunk, donate we man.

We briefly went into the resale store but were off-turned by its random nature, too much work man.

Trip back to casa was substantially delayed, absolutely awful traffic at Many p.m. man.

We were exhausted by the stress and the traffic and were sleepy from lunch, out-wiped we man.

We made it to the casa about half-of-half an hour late, totally hosed we man man.

We lunched demanding miu and went straight to siesta, desperate-for-zzz we man.

Of course, siesta was interrupted by a call from Uncle T-B. and a blow-leafer outside, :ranting: man.

We conclude that the FAJC is perfectly nice, conclude we man.

However, the distance is not sustainable, no man.

The FAJC has no car, previously totaled man.

Her schedule is challenging to navigate, Noosering Skool man.

We therefore will probably not pursue anything further, oh well man.

Unless the EJC renews interest, this will be our last interaction from the website, gone dark on it now man.

It was a highly interesting (!!?) Many (2+2+2) months, conclude we and agree all of you man man.

We will begin applying to monasteries shortly, only remaining option man.

After siesta, felt like dog-poop, borderline-ill we man.

Felt slightly less hosed after shower and a mega-Tylenol, somewhat man.

Up-picked Mini-B. in eve, Two Guys week man.

Mini-B. quite helpful in arranging his new room, motivated wee man man.

This was good because we were at about 2% personal battery life, exhausted we man.

Mini-B. showed us his newest computer game, watch in bewilderment we man man.

Din-din for us was onecan of sliced carrots, ingest we man.

Mini-B. had din-din with ex-Mrs.-T-B., pre-ingest wee man man.

Mini-B. is enjoying his new bathroom, bath towel**, and bedroom digs, enjoy wee man man.

**bought at a recent ES, financially savvy we man

It was past time to give him this kind of independence, recognize acutely we man re wee man man.

We think that this will rebuild father-son relations, don't blow it we man please man man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

Must take Mini-B. to skool and Uncle T-B. to doctor, chauffeur wee and senior he man man.

And that was/is our thrilling Wednesday, report we man.

i've seen so many problems with ice makers i'd say it is worth buying one without an ice maker, just use the trays to make ice.  of course, i don't use ice anyways due to living in europe where ice costs extra and having been in a combat zone where even a warm coke was better than no coke.
my current fridge is a whirlpool i bought about 23 years ago, and it works just fine.  what is the brand of your current fridge?

as for filtered water, i use a separate water pitcher - culligan zero water - that removes a lot of the total dissolved solids from
water.

https://shop.culligan.com/

I'm not an ice in beverages fan.  My kids are.  Ice is good for pina coladas and margaritas...I don't like it in regular beverages or water.  I have a smashed front tooth from playing lacrosse years ago so it's sensitive to cold.  Ice is such a North American thing!

You can probably guess the brand of junk refrigerator we have.  Korean brand.  Absolute favorite of @Ontarkie (yes, insert dripping sarcasm! 🤭).

We use a high volume of filtered water because Texas...kids, pets, lots of filtered water.  I used to have a water cooler in Canada that took the big 5gal bottles, which was great, but everything eventually wears out and it took up space.

We're going to go out later and take a peruse at what's available.  Very likely to be the well regarded Bosch 800 series since it's a dual compressor model that is $500 off for Memorial Day sales.  I'm just annoyed because I recently purchased a new, overhead garage door as a "big ticket home improvement" item, not anticipating having to consider whether I want to be continually inconvenienced or just replace the misbehaving refrigerator.  Definite first world problems, I know.

BTW, your kitten is beautiful! 😍

Thrilling non-ES Friday report, see man:

Breakfast was 2 hard-boiled eggs, ingest we man.

Went ES-ing and then to Dollar-plus-half-of-half-a-dollar Tree and to Aldi, shop we for ourself and Mama T-B. man.

Returned to casa and tried to siesta, hosed by texts/phone calls man.  :ranting:

After de-skooling Mini-B., called Mama T-B. to arrange delivery, deliver we man.

Mama T-B. more frazzled than we'd almost ever heard, frazzled senior she man.

probably more of a medium hair cat.
she wants to be petted all the time, and it's like petting a giant cotton ball because she is so soft.
she gets brushed mostly in the springtime and fall, when her coat changes.
