Thrilling Thursday report, see man:

 

Took one Manyzen pounds of shredding to UPS Store, destructive we man.

Paid $Many ($2x2x2x2 + 2 + half a buck)*,  man.

     *after Many% discount, financially savvy we man

For future stuff, we plan to staple/tape it inside scrap flat envelopes for City recycling, resolve we man.

The nonconfidential, good-condition one-sided stuff is now in our printer tray, financially savvy we man.

 

Went to supermarket for miu-food, little miu-piglet out-ate Chewy.com monthly order man.

Went to Costco for Many (2+1) items, go we man.

They had only 2 items,  man.

We mollified ourself by lunching on the hot dog + (Diet) Pepsi, ingest financially savvy we man.

We then went to Costco Business Center and found all Many (2+1) items, satisfied we man.

A highly necessary siesta was then taken, zzz we man.

 

The TMJC had stood us up Many (2+1) times before, never meet we man.

She begged for another chance and swore to follow through, swear she man.

We set time at place near the casa, set we man.

We insisted that she text when leaving and when arrived, insist we man.

We privately resolved to remain at the casa until we heard, wise we man.

Of course radio silence, the deafenance was silencing man.

We therefore continued our casa-cleaning as though nothing else had been scheduled, good for us man.

 

Din-din was Tuna Glop, ingest we man.

Dessert was almost a pound of purple grapes, ingest we man.

 

Before sunset, mowed entire lawn, hot but low humidity and most everything in shade man.

We used Many (2+1) sweatbands, 2 job 1 recovery man.

Miu dozed on our lap as we off-cooled under ceiling fan, sweaty we host affectionate miu man.

 

We have itineraried 1 GS and Many (2+2+1) ESs for Friday, quite spread over distance man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort and continue casa-cleaning we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Thursday, report we man.

So if you had very little money to buy stocks in today's market what would you buy into? I know nothing of stocks but I was thinking maybe I should get some with the way it is now.

Depends on now much "very little" is, si O ma'am.

 

Better to go into a high-yield savings (HYS) account, such as Newtek Bank (Many.ManyMany%), lucrative D ma'am.

Or, if inaccessibility to the funds for several months isn't a worry, a Many-month CD, $i D ma'am.

BankMany isn't offering as much now as when we signed up Uncle T-B., sigh man.

We have Uncle T-B. in all but Eagle Bank now, but that might be next, $i man.

 

An HYS account is liquid and, although variable-rate, carries zero risk, see D ma'am.

A CD locks up the funds but has a firm rate and carries zero risk, see D ma'am.

Stocks risk loss, sigh D ma'am.

You also have to hold them or pay short-term capital gains tax, sigh D ma'am.

Furthermore, you can usually up-sign online for CDs or HYS rather than hire a stockbroker, whee D ma'am.

Take it from us, $ucce$$ful bu$ine$$ typhoon we man, si D ma'am.

Thrilling Friday non-GS/ES report, see man:

 

Breakfast was 2 Costco hard-boiled eggs, ingest we man.

 

We met a not-so-junior chica at an ES today, si man.

We exchanged phone numbers and had a really nice initial chat, seemingly positive man.

We were genuinely excited, first time in forever man.

However, when we texted her later, she said, "no chemistry, no man; good luck in your love search, bye man," sigh man.

We couldn't even siesta after thinking about this, no man.  

 

Lunch/din-din was at usual Chinese buffet, 2 plates piled with beef/chicken ingest we man.

Si, Bro G, "girlfriend" was there, as scrawny and homely as ever man.

 

The PJC has come up with yet another plausible excuse for not rendezvousing with us, sigh man.

We've told her that maybe we should abandon the effort, conclude we man.

We're currently texting to try to determine once and for all what the dickens is really up, text we man.

Except for (?) the EJC, zero other prospects man.

We are left with a needy miu and facing absolutely intimidating casa-cleaning, sigh man.

 

We are beginning to reluctantly conclude that we are going to have to purge-empty our closets (clothes, storage, etc.) and filing-cabinets before any of the exposed stuff can be removed from view, impossible job man.

And we have essentially 2 weeks (both rife with doctor visits for Mama & Uncle T-B.) to do this, sigh man.

Otherwise, we will lose Mini-B. permanently, no doubt about this man.

 

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort during casa-cleaning man.

Many GSs for Saturday but must skip them, at least weekly streak still intact man.

And that was/is our thrilling (?) Friday, report we man.

Thanks Tbone, I'll pass on stocks. It really isn't much. Not enough for a savings account. Just stuff I made playing video games. 

 

I think you need to give up on dating sites. Don't know what sites you found but they sure suck. You're better off paying a psychic to ask her where to look at this point. Or have your friend WCG set you up with someone.

Just completely off-cleaned the right side of our desk, Clean for Gene we man.

In addition to dust, pretzel salt, miu-hair, and paper shredded by miu, we found the following, see man:

  -- NIP stretch-belt, si man

  -- Many (2+1) flashlights, see man

  -- Many (2+2) scissors, si man

  -- 2 thermometers (1 mercury, 1 digital), C (and F) man

  -- innumerable sticky-pads that we could never find when needed, si and no man

  -- innumerable pens* & glue-sticks*, that's where all the latter went man

          *now stored in the aluminum breadstick-basket bought at Friday's GS, ape with a plan we man

 

We now have more than just 1/Many'rd of our mousepad exposed for use, helps rather muchly man.

 

We are very glad that we wore surgical gloves during this process, yuck man.

 

All of this makes us feel less rotten in regard to the chica-events of the day, distraction man.

 

Now for the left side of the desk, shouldn't be as bad man.

And the papers stacked atop the printer, shouldn't be that bad man.

And then the stuff on the floor,        man.

I added to my stock portfolio a few weeks ago when the market took the big down turn.  Buy low...

 

I've done well over the years with Walmart, McDonalds, Home Depot, Coca Cola, and Costco.  I prefer the blue chip stocks.

 

All of these, and more, can be purchased direct without a broker.  Check out computershare.com.  I try to add a little each month.  After several years it's amazing what you will accumulate.
