Hey guys, I just wanted to know who else like us is still waiting on a NOA2? What I am hoping to get out of this thread is a feeling that we are not alone... The wait it brutal and killing us...every day talking to my wife and discussing when it will happen :(

My wife is almost 5 months pregnant and we both want to be with each other badly... Also I want her to be here to deliver the baby.

not to promote it, but I use Skype.. but a local number ($29/year) and buy Skype minutes (2 cents minute, depends on place).. I can then call anytime (well when she's not sleeping) and anywhere (using home phone, cell phone, and other people's phones too).. so we can keep in touch everyday...

but to answer your question... I'm not waiting for approval.. I'm waiting for my baby to be in my arms again :blush:

I'm waiting on my NOA2.... I thought my lawyer had our visa process started back in Novemer 2006 but come to find out he left the law firm he was in and started his own firm with a few partners and he never sent in the paperwork until April 2007!! I have not seen my husband since October 2006 when we were married!! :crying: This has been a VERY long and difficult road for us. :(

05/12/2007 - NOA1 received by snail mail after a loooong wait

05/14/2007 - Sent I-129F for K3 to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Express Mail

10/22/2007 - I129F APPROVED (161 days), I130 APPROVED (188 days)

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

11/13/2007 - I129F forwarded to embassy.

11/18/2007 - 129F petition received at embassy

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

01/23/2008 - never got packet 4, emailed embassy

patience dude ! i am waiting for my I130 to get approved since i start it lol and i think i told you preceding !! anyways it's been more than 3 years and nothing happend :unsure:

but i have a substantial question.

when we call USICS or if we ask someone why its take so long to get approved !!!!

the answer is Ohh the USCIS so stress <-- here's the thing we need .... WHO IS STRESS THE USCIS OR US LOL .

and let me add something i see ur case running to the best qz i see them keep touching ur case and that good sign, just dont give up and keep going. good luck to u and to all of us.

I'm a March waiter also. I think I only saw 1 approval this whole week. It feels like they will never approve us at this rate. They should really allow us to be together in the USA while they do their paperwork. I mean what is the harm in that? If someone really wants to come here and do some sort of harm, they can always just walk across the border like the 12 million+ other people that have done this. They need to take a completely different approach since it's cruel for loved ones to be separated for so long.

Sorry to hear that also and I hope somehow that yours will go quickly in the other steps. Things like this are the reason I decided to file everything myself...you can't trust anyone to care about your forms and things like you would yourself.
