OK OK I am surprised anyone would get upset over a post like this and why would I be blocked? I have gone through and still going through the immigration process just like everyone else here. People post divorce questions on this site? Why is it ok for advise on ending a marriage but not for finding someone a date?

Fine I will not post anything else after this so it will die. There are some good posts on the personallity of Scotts so I can forward the advise on to her and let her decide if she even wants to visit there or not.

Thanks for all the responses.

there are Scots with awful personalities too...

The bottom line is that one does oneself a great disservice by referring to people as if they are breeds of dogs

'the Scottish terrier is great with children'

And this is not an international dating site, so there's the confusion.

Gaby&Talbert - can't really make it any clear than that -- this is simply the wrong place. (People post divorce questions here AS THEY RELATE TO IMMIGRATION ISSUES, not as they relate to looking for a date!! VJ, sheesh

Remember everyone, a Scotsman is for life! Not just for Christmas!

Love that pic!

I know, isn't it cute? It's TOTALLY the kind of thing my dog would do, except she's a Jack Russell. :P

I have a coworker friend that would like to meet a potential husband from Scotland.

LOL

Tell her to go to Scotland then; it will enhance her chances of meeting a Scottish man. There aren't many of them to begin with but they seem to mainly be concentrated in Scotland itself.

I think the OP and his/her friend had a few cocktails, then decided to open a world map, close their eyes and point. The friend landed on Glasgow and there you have it. So funny though that it needs to be a scottish guy. What if the potential husband was from .... say Carlisle?? I wonder would that rule him out completely??
