It means your case has been transferred from the NVC at USA to the USA embassy/consulate in Lima, Peru.  You need to check your e-mail often, since this is the main form of communication the embassy will use to send you the next steps.  I would suggest you go here on VJ into the Peru portal to ask for further assistance AND look at the guide for K1s.

It is letting you know that the NVC has processed your application & has forwarded the physical files to your fiancé's embassy. If you don't already have it, you can request the case number & proceed to complete the rest of the required steps while the files are in transit (i.e., DS-160, paying your MRV fee, scheduling an appointment, scheduling & completing your medical exam, etc.).

How long did the process take up until this point? What is your receipt date, and which service center processed your case? Curious as I’m going through the same process.

How are you able to do the DS-160, pay MRV Fee, Schedule the appointment, and schedule the medical exam before getting instructions (packet 3) from the embassy?  I did not realize that was an option.

Once you have your case number you can complete your DS-160. Once that is completed, you can pay your MRV Fee. Once that is completed you can schedule your interview appointment. Once you have that you can schedule your medical exam...so on & so forth.

The K1 procedures after I-129F approval are very consulate-specific.  For Manila, once the CEAC case status turns "Ready", K1 applicants do not need to wait for packet 3 from the embassy.  No idea if your consulate has the same policy.  Some consulates will cancel the applicant's interview booking if made prior to receiving packet 3.

@KalTam and @Sha-Lee88 Like @Chancy said, you have to check with your local embassy/consulate.

For example, @Patcor is in Lima, Peru, so they should go here:

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/LMA-Lima-073119.pdf

I don't know your specific countries, but you can go to the same website and look for your city and country and a similar page will appear.  Likewise, there are portals for country specific help here on VJ.
