Help - Speeding Ticket in Canada

I have an interview for N400 coming up. I recently travelled to Canada. My rental car company charged me for "traffic violations". The amount is about 150 CAD, including handling fees. I believe it's a speeding ticket, however, I cannot find out any details after contacting them many times. All I have is a posted credit card transaction. Any suggestion on how I should present this during the interview? Thanks in advance!

Just like that. With honesty and  what documentation you have. Assuming you emailed the rental company requesting more info, i would include those emails

If you present it, prepare for the ISO to hold your N-400 decision until you have proof that the issue has been resolved with Canadian courts.

 

Consider the possibility there was a speed detection device in the car, and the rental car company determined you drove faster than a speed limit.

I don't think that's a legal case at all. It looks like the company charged you with a contractual penalty, not the government (e.g. police). If so, this is not a legal traffic violation, just a violation of the contract. As such it may not be required to report it. But, there's a question about crimes for which you were not prosecuted (cited, charged, etc), so you may simply mention this incident and state that you were never prosecuted or cited for it (if that's indeed the case).
