Hi all,

I will be able to file my 1-751 to remove conditions on my CR1 spousal visa. I have upcoming travel plans and curious if I should wait to file the 1-751 or if it’s ok to travel after filing? My greencard will still be valid during my travel time, just confused if it will cause any issues to file and travel without that extension letter in hand? Read it can take 4-6 weeks to receive it but I will be back in the states by the time that arrives.

I can wait to come back to the US to file but would rather file it sooner than later if possible.

thanks in advance!

No issue to travel after filing the I-751.
