Does form I864 need to be signed with an actual pen?

I am filling up I864 as a sponsor. I am at 6.a and it says Sponsor's signature. I am filling up the form in acrobat reader. Should I actually print out the page, sign it with a pen and then scan and submit? Or can I just type my name in where it says Signature?

It needs to be actually signed. 
people have received RFEs for not signing the form.

Print, sign with pen, upload. It HAS to have a "wet signature" as it's called.

wet signature and scanned back into the system. otherwise, it will be rejected
