Any issues with working remotely in my home country while I wait for my wife’s I-130 to get approved? Will it raise any flags if I live outside the US for a little?

What will that do to your 2023 income? Will it be more than the I-864p requirement?

Good. When you file I-864p you will to have US domicile or evidence you will establish doctor le including sufficient US-based income and/or assets

He will file an I-864, not 854p.  Temporary visits abroad are not an issue for actual residence or domicile.  If the OP's income will continue from the same source once he returns to the USA, there are really no other concerns.

Is the term “temporary” defined anywhere? Is there any quantitative cutoff or does that not exist?

It's very subjective and a judgment call.  If you just moved to your wife's country to wait out the visa process, it's pretty obvious it's temporary.

This is more of a company question, not a visa question. If your company allows you to do so, then do it.
