I see, good luck! I think 2 months is pretty normal for N-400. You may need to wait a bit more due to pending I-751. Did you attach copy of I-751 receipt in N-400?

No, but I applied digitally, I can always add it. Can you maybe explain the reason for it? I thought USCIS had all the info about the cases when they open up my file.

The reason is not everybody at USCIS does a great job. People in the past reported showing up for N-400 interview to only find out officer didn't realize there was I-751 pending. This gives them a chance to prepare better and not have excuse "we're only interviewing for N-400, I wasn't aware about other petition". It's doesn't cost anything to do it either.

Do you think I should also attach my N-400 notice to my pending I-751 just in case they get to it first?

That's an interesting idea. Not sure if anybody ever done this. I don't see any downside to doing this.

Yeah... I just thought about that since my I-751 has been pending for almost 26 months it might be somewhat closer to review than my N-400 that was submitted a few months ago.

Our story:  Our I-751 had been pending for 40 months (No RFEs) when wife submitted her N-400 online.  Four months later, both the I-751 and N-400 were approved in our combo interview.  I had submitted a letter to request a combo interview when we filed wife's N-400.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Woke up this morning to an email saying 'Action Was Taken on My Case', when I log in, it still says Case is Being Actively Reviewed. 😕

Out of curiosity, why haven't you filed for citizenship instead?
