went for the bio appointment today as scheduled, and ended up having to wait 90 min there. And they only took prints from 2 fingers, right hand index and middle finger.

On the way home, online status updated to: Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS. Now the waiting game begins...

2/25/23 Received Bio appointment letter in the mail

Wife's interview was today.  15 minutes and recommended for approval.  Friendly officer with standard questions.  No documents asked for.  Officer said oath ceremony should be in about 45 days.  All g

Was just curious about my application status, login to my USCIS account and saw the status changed to "Interview Was Scheduled"!!  Interview date is on May 23, 11:10AM!

90mins sounds long for biometric appointment. Too many people?

What was the 'code' in your biometric notice? That kind of drives what fingers they have to collect. Code 1 is for all the fingers, 2 is for index, 5 is for four fingers or something like that

They do it by groups, 20 each group, and they call the next 20 people after every one in the previous group is done with the appointment. I think that’s why it was taking longer.

Same here. I went in for the bio appointment yesterday and the status changed to “Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS.” Hopefully, the wait won’t be too long

Thank you.  My wife-applicant is a diligent student.  The likely impossible goal is to master the material better than the officer who will interview her :)

So different in Albuquerque.  We arrived a bit early and my wife was admitted immediately.  No other applicants in sight.  All staff very friendly.  Almost like being a VIP, with a warm welcome from USCIS.

Did my bio this morning, it was very quick. Case changed to Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS.

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

I got my biometric done today. They gave me a handbook for study the questions

Went for my bio appointment today in Fargo, ND. Feeling stressed as the officer has hard time collecting fingerprints from me. It took several attempts, hand lotion to get poor quality of my two fingerprints. Hopefully they would be enough as it’s 1,5 hr drive for me one way to that USCIS support center. 
 

Status on my case change to : case is being actively reviewed.
