Brand New to I-130 Process for Sister

Hey y'all!

We are BRAND new to this whole process and I'm so sorry if this has been asked a million times, but my searching in the forums isn't yielding the answers I'm wondering about. 

My husband is an USC; and we want to bring his sister here. She is married, but we only want to bring her here. We also want to bring her 17 year old daughter here. 

 

Questions:

1. Sister has four kids----but we only want to bring her oldest daughter. Do we need to list all 4 kids on the application?

2. How does it work to attach the daughter to our I-130? Or do we have to wait until the priority date comes up?

 

Yes, I know our niece might've aged out by this point. Sigh. We still want to bring sister here.

Timeline:

K-1 Journey:

Petition sent: 03/27/2014

Interview date!!! 10/06/2014

AOS:

Packet received at Chicago Lockbox: 2/2/2015

EAD approved! 2/26/2015

AP approved! 2/26/2015

Green card received!! 09/24/2015

ROC: 

I-751 sent off to CSC: 7/25/2017

NOA1: 7/27/2017

Filed Inquiry into Biometrics status: 9/18/2017

10 Year Green Card Approved!!! 10/22/2018

 

Next Stop, Citizenship!

Sister will be F4.

Brothers and Sisters of Adult US citizens.

You can follow the visa bulletin here. 

Oldest daughter will definitely age out.

Currently they are working on petitions filed in 2007.

By the time a visa is available, the 17 year old will be 37.

When she gets here which is a long time in the future she can sponsor her eldest daughter assuming she has not married.

 

otherwise she will need to wait until she becomes a Citizen so she can sponsor her and her family.

 

obviously when looking at these really long time periods things can change but we can only comment on the rules as they are now
