  1. 1. In reading VJ, does it ever get your ire when people (from other countries) insult the immigration department/ Government systems?

    • No - It's just another Government department - I don't take it personally

Absolutely not! I hate the system as much as my fiance does and the arrogance of people in the USCIS gets up my nose just as much as it does his!

Tell me we will never have to be apart again...

I voted No...

It's just another bs government department that doesn't know it's head from a hole in a groud...I don't take it personally....now what I would take personally would be if someone was coming on trashing Americans in general, yet they wanted to come to this country...that would be a bit contradictory dontcha think?

08 Nov. 2007--Visa Interview & Approved

14 Nov. 2007--Pete receives K1 visa in the mail

21 Nov. 2007-- Pete arrives in the United States (together at last!!)

27 Dec. 2007--Our 3 year anniversary of being engaged

16 Feb. 2008--We were married!!

Hubby definitly complains about it more than me, I am used to dealing with bad government services being a law graduate in Brasil and having done internship in offices and being the one going to all these different departments to receive their "adorable" treatment.

I never thought about it actually. I think we all can understand the frustration at times with dealing with the visa process however.
