Yes I mean that 🥺

No worries.  If you want to stop studying while your AOS/I485 is processing you should be fine.  However, if you decide you want to go to school after submitting the I485, you should be able to enroll with a copy of the I485 receipt notice.

Good Luck!

Once you file AOS and you receive your receipt, you'll have authorized stay in the US based on the AOS and marriage to a USC.

You can choose to keep your F1 status or not. But the danger is if you choose not to keep your F1 status and your AOS is denied down the line you'll be in serious jeopardy with being in the country illegally.

So if you are confident your AOS will be smooth sailing then sure, you can abandon your F1 status. Make sure to apply for work permit and travel document when you AOS.

Thanks for helping me but can I ask you that if now I don’t have the new i20 from the new college and now I am still waiting for the marriage certificate to give for the AOS is it ok to do that because I don’t have much money for my study at now look like now I am out of status right??🥺

Once you submit the AOS paperwork, you should be fine relative to being in a state of authorized stay regardless of your F1 status.  My general recommendation is to get your AOS package in as soon as you can after getting your marriage certificate copies and then start to collect marital co-mingling evidence you can bring to the interview.

Good Luck!
