My brother in law is a Us citizen and it's petitioning his mom. Today we read on the nvc page that one of the possible documents it's a divorce decree, does this apply for this visa Ir5 or it’s just for IR1 and CR 1

Does anyone here has to upload the divorce decree. Thank you in advance

As you say “possible” ..it depends on whose divorce certificate you are referring to..  if the beneficiary is divorced then yes , their divorce certificate will be required as part of the NVC processing   If its the petitioner who is divorced the no.. not for the NVC stage

Is his mom, the beneficiary, who is divorced, so we have to request the divorce decree? She doesn’t live in that country anymore, that’s why we are asking.
thank you very much
