Event Description

Embassy Review : My husband's Interview was scheduled for 7:30 am, he arrived at the embassy at 7:00 am and there was a line already, he waited like 20 min and then was led in the embassy when he had to do another line. He was asked to have in hand the originals birth certificate, marriage certificate, and taxes, everything was checked by an agent and then he was led in and seated to wait to be called for the interview. He was called by an officer and was asked a lot of questions about us, we dated in high school, so she asked a lot of questions about that, she also asked about my previous marriage and how he felt and when we started eating and planning our wedding, she asked very specific things about me, but he answered everything. The officer also asked about my visits ( I traveled to Guyana 7 times, who he told her all the months, being the last time January for our anniversary. The officer then congratulate him and told him he was approved. Two days after he picked up his passport with the visa.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
