Uscis timeline to check my response to RFE N400 / Seattle

Hello!

I had an interview for N400 at the beginning of July and officer asked to submit response to RFE that they issued that same day. As soon as I got home I submitted it and portal says “uscis has received the response“.

is there any timeline I should expect next steps? It’s been >2 months now.
I tried to submit e-request to uscis support but they say my case is within the timelines.

Any ideas or recent experience with RFE for N400 in Seattle appreciated!

Nothing too special, additional docs for proof of residency that I had. I am just wondering is the timeline to respond outlined anywhere?

Or how can I get through the automated call center that uscis has?

120 days is what a general timeframe is to finalize it. However, there is not definitive timeframe binding USCIS to complete your case. Press option 6 I believe for info pass and speak to an agent.

Did you ever get a response from them?

I got an RFE for tax payments because according to them we didn’t pay our taxes (we pay in advance and then pay the final amount) but it seems on their end it shows not paid even though it was. They wouldn’t except just the tax returns either. Ugh

You should use the online case inquiry form. I did it two weeks ago and got approval today even though it said it was within time. Not sure if it’s related but worth a try!
I hope you hear soon!
