Does the PSAC strike impact the processing of RCMP Criminal Record Checks in any way?

It could. RCMP admin staff is affected by the strike. However, most detachment should have at least one admin assistant deemed essential (and therefore, still at work).

Another month passed.. another month with no RCMP results. I just don’t get what’s taking MONTHS to process this.

It took me 7 days after the submission of fingerprint with F1 fingerprinting agency to get RCMP result but that was end of Jan 2023 (No backlog at that time). Another way is that you may attach a note that you will submit the RCMP result during interview as processing is taking time due to backlog. You may also submit it to embassy once you receive interview letter.

Hello Guys!
I have applied my RCMP Certified Criminal Record on May 8th 2023. What is the current Processing ? Honestly no clue, i am stuck with the job application and i am in need of job. It is very frustrating that you cannot start the job since you are not cleared.

I have applied for Employment Verification - Private - Background check from Vancouver - commisionaries

Waiting three weeks now myself, does the rcmp tell you when they post it back to you?

OK I came home from work and my police certificate was waiting for me at the door! Took me 3 weeks exactly to get it back and I'm living in ireland. Went through reliability screening, very happy with their service.
