Hi all,

I'm getting married August 6 and want to smell nice. I'm not really a cologne person, but want to smell good on my honeymoon. Any suggestions? Obsession for Men? CK One? Really, I don't have clue. Help appreciated. Thanks.

I like Issey Miyake

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Acqua di Gio - Terrific all around choice. Great for daytime/business. and also great for evenings. This is my everyday choice for 5+ years. Get compliments on it nearly every day!

Xeryus Rouge by Givenchy - My second favorite. A terrific 'heavier' choice for a nice romantic evening out. Personally, I find it too heavy for daytime/business. But love it for the evening.

Warm Regards,

Samby

old spice

Old Spice! Yeah...that rocks! My husband wears it. It's subtle and the scent for me is heaven. Simple is better...and a HECK of a lot cheaper!

I'm no lady, but from I've heard from the gals, it's the person's own 'smell' that mixes with the cologne giving you your own distinct smell.

100% true. C. wears Polo Green, so you'd think Polo Blue wouldn't smell awful on him, but you'd be wrong. Drakkar Noir is one of my favorite colognes as it reminds me of a close college friend, but on C. it reacts weirdly.

To the OP: the most important thing is how it smells on your skin after a couple of hours. Start off by going to one of the counters at Macy's or Sephora (if you can stand the makeup...) and find a couple scents you like. See if you can get a sample or a tester, and wander around with it for a few hours.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
