For the reason for not filing taxes due to being unemployed in 2021. Does that need to be hand written?? I saw someone got an RFE and the message says "write an explanation and scan it." I had typed up an explanation and uploaded it would that not be accepted??

When we needed to upload ours we typed a small explanation, printed, signed and uploaded back.

I hope this can help you

Just as a note, you can always file taxes, even if you had no income, that way you maintain a history of filing, and can always get transcripts if needed. Sometime you even get money back if you qualify for rebates and other things, so it always pays to file.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!
