How fast do you get a new Interview date

After waiting for 22months, my spouse received an interview notice, unfortunately within 5 days, we received another notice that the interview has been canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances."

My question to everyone is...
1.  Have you experienced this in your Green Card journey?

2.  If yes, how soon did you receive a new date?

3.  Depending on your response to question 2 above, did you do another medical test?

Thanks... this is for my spouse, not me, she is IR1 category.

Last person that had an interview cancelled was rescheduled after about 2 months.

 

Medicals expire after 6 months so redoing the medicals would depend on how soon the interview gets rescheduled.

You will have to calculate from when it was done to your intended entry date into the US with reference to your interview date.

 

FYI you visa will be stamped to expire 6 months from the date of the medicals also.
