case status issued Post Interview Montreal Consulate

I had  my interview at the Montreal Consulate Friday May 13th. My interview was short. The officer didn’t come right out and say I was approved, but she did say my application looked great and gave me a paper on how to track my passport. I asked if I was approved and all she said is the “computer system” is old and slow and to check my status on line.  I checked my status on the CEAC status tracked website and my status went from “READY” to ISSUED; however, in the box below it reads: Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

 

 

Has this happened to anyone else and if so what was the outcome. I am so confused.

But if the site now says ready to be issued,  it will soon say "issued"

 

they kept your passport 

short interview usually means all the documents look good

If your status says "Issued", you are golden......your visa is approved.  That "administrative processing" is a standard statement on all issued visas.
