My tourist visa to US expired already, is it possible for me to apply for a tourist visa once again since there's no clear schedule on when I will receive an interview date?

So I'm hoping to get a tourist visa so I can still visit my parents while waiting for my interview.

Thanks!

Regards,

Brian

There is no legal reason you can not apply

May not be very practical.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Thanks for the info!
I understand yes not very practical, but I used to visit them every 2-3 years or so when I still have my visa, now it took longer specially when pandemic came.

Reading the other thread about f2b/f1b interview dates and we're looking at another year or so for me to receive mine, hence the thought of renewing my tourist visa. :(

See if you qualify for a tourist visa interview waiver: https://ph.usembassy.gov/visa-update-expansion-of-interview-waiver-eligibility-for-certain-non-immigrant-visa-niv-applicants-122821/#:~:text=The U.S. Embassy in the, months of that visa's expiration.

If you meet the requirements, you can get your tourist visa renewed through dropbox. I think @seekingthetruth 's wife did the same thing while her spousal visa process is still ongoing.

I hope that works for them.  I've seen people who are getting scheduled for tourist interviews in late 2023 and early 2024 now.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Yes, sounds like you were a frequent traveler on the expired visa so if it expired less that 48 months ago and it was a 10 year visa, I think you have a good shot at interview waiver renewal.
