Interview still not scheduled

We applied for AOS in June 2021. I know that it can take longer to have your interview scheduled. The reason why I'm wondering about this is because I'm subscribed to e-mails about timelines similar to my own and have seen a few others belonging to my field office (Chicago) that either applied later than me or had their biometrics taken later than me that have had interviews scheduled. This makes me wonder a little bit about why mine is taking longer and why that could be. I have the EAD combo card already, so I'm not feeling stressed or worried about waiting in itself, just that others within the same field office have been scheduled and not me. Would that be a reason to be worried? Is this common? 😇

What is the processing time for I-485 at that field office, per the USCIS site?

Chicago is 9.5 to 22 months.

Unless you filed before May 2020 you are not eligible to make an outside of normal processing times service enquiry.

There is nothing to be worried about.

Thankfully you have your EAD.

Be prepared to file a free EAD renewal 6 months before it expires.
