Can you try registering your Receipt # on the USCIS website and see if it works?

FYI, yesterday we received the I-797C NOA from the CSC.

07/05/2005 - INTERVIEW DATE JULY 25 @ ISB Embassy

07/25/2005 - CASE COMPLETE-VISA RECEIVED

08/10/2005 - Wife arrives in US

07/05/2007 - Mailed I-751 to NSC via USPS Express Mail

07/09/2007 - Mailed signed copy of I-751 to NSC via USPS 1st class mail

07/14/2007 - Received rejection letter due to not signing original I-751

07/25/2007 - Original application packet and signed copy of I-751 sent on 7/05 returned by the CSC

07/26/2007 - Mailed back the original application packet after signing it via USPS Express Mail

08/06/2007 - Money order cashed by USCIS

08/09/2007 - Receive I-797C Notice of Action with Receipt #

08/25/2007 - Receive Biometrics appt: Sept 7th, 2007

09/07/2007 - Fingerprints and photos taken at Naperville ASC

10/29/2007 - Card production ordered

Sept 24th email notice of Approval - card ordered !!!!!!

That gives me some peace of mind, that our case wasn't unusual. Well hope the Biometrics appt comes soon.

Nothing yet here... but we are living overseas (APO address), so everything takes a little longer. Plus, we sent money orders. Still gotta go to USPS to check if it was cashed.

FYI, yesterday we received the I-797C NOA from the CSC.

I tried to register the receipt # and it didn't work for me either.

woohoo received my I797C today and have been transferred to California (assume this is good news)

with reference to the receipt number it states on the bottom of mine

" Upon receipt of you ASC appointment letter, you can find the status of your case online at www.uscis.gov." it goes on to detail the number off the biometrics letter you need so its that number we need not anything off this letter to track our cases.

Greencard arrived in the mail today. The case was transferred to CSC. I can't believe how quickly it arrived, we were expecting to wait several months!

Sept 30, 2005 AOS Interview Seattle - Approved

July 6, 2007 I-751 paperwork rec'd at NSC

July 23, 2007 NOA rec'd extending greencard 1 yr.

August 10, 2007 Biometrics appointment

August 24, 2007 10 yr Greencard arrives from CSC

We received our Biometrics letter today!!! Appointment is for September 7th in Naperville. Haven't tried to register case online yet. Things are moving along well -:)

Cool!!! Which ASC are you having your Biometrics taken at? I hope that all the places have the digital fingerprint scanners now, I'd hate for them to take the fingerprints in ink and then come back and say that we didn't get proper prints and you have to come back.

we applied in Jan. their date is 01/22/07 and all we have had to date is the bio app. back in Feb and nothing since........drumming fingers waiting. I noticed they seem to be working on dec. 07/ 06 files now. so hopefully we will hear soon. I have been more or less out of status since 03/28/07 and haven't wanted to go any where without a GC, I hope there is no emergency with regards to my family in Canada. It has been a really testing on more than one leave. good luck and let's get some MOJO going for those of us waiting for the GC.

jan 7/07 mailed removal of conditions app.

feb27/07 @11am go for biometrics again, ho humm this game is almost done

march 8/08 still waiting for permanent green card

april 15/08 finally after 15 months my 10 yr GC arrived

2009 need to renew can.passport, ug will all this never end

I am very close to your timeline. They have receiving my application down as Jan 26th and my biometrics was the same day. I too want it to be over, just for peace of mind at least. Good luck and everyone else waiting for the word. :)

Contacted congressman, ombudsman late March

Got 1 yr stamp and case moved to CSC: 04/02/08

Approved: 04/08/08. Done with USCIS for a few years. :)
