Refused application

My husband and I did the interview with my two children last week. On the letter from NVC said we should bring all original documents that was submitted. I brought my 2020 tax return and they asking for my W2 which I didn’t have and now the visa application is refused. They gave me an email to send the W2 to and taken both my children passport. Has anyone been through a similar situation?

Refused does  not mean refused 

it is the term they now use while waiting for the AP to be done

relax  when they get and review the W2 they will make the decision

Is it a past w2? If so, have you contacted your employer about a copy?

2020 W2. I already send it to the email they provided.

No new update on my case yet. Status is still saying refused.

Are you sure it isn't the 2021 w2 that they require? I had my interview on the 14th and they were asking for the most recent year's (2021) tax information from persons.. since its tax season now. 

 

Also, it may take up to 90 days or more to receive a response. The embassy is moving extremely slow.

They ask for 2021 W2 and I submitted it through the email that was given to me the same day of the interview. I really hope I get an update before 90 days.
