CRBA - approved and got an emergency passport. What is the next step? I was told i need to go to Bureau of Immig for my son exit to Phillipines. How true and give me your thoughts. Thank you

Your country on visa journey is Ethiopia. Does your son hold a  passport of Philippines?

Does your son have a parent who is a citizen of the Philippines?

***Moved to the Philippines forum because the question is about the PH Bureau of Immigration***

Was one of the parents a PH citizen at the time of your son's birth? If yes, then your son is already a PH citizen. You need to get him a PH passport or risk paying a big overstay fee when you leave the country.

Hopefully your son has a Philippines AND US Passport. If so just need to bring both to the airport when exiting. You do not make any special trip to BI but everyone leaving the country has to go through BI.
